PREVIEW
The Terriers are set for a big week in the Skyland Conference Mountain Division, with a matchup that could have a major impact on the division race. Manville enters play at 4-0 in the division, while Del Val sits at 2-0, making this an early-season showdown between two of the top teams. Both sides will feature some of the division’s best arms, setting up a pair of highly competitive games. Manville is expected to send senior Brandon Shimp to the mound, who has been outstanding with a 2-0 record, a 0.82 ERA, and 32 strikeouts over 17 innings. The Terriers will counter with senior Dylan Rasimowicz, who has been dominant in his own right and has yet to allow an earned run this season. With another strong pitching matchup expected later in the week, this series promises to showcase high-level baseball on both sides. Manville brings experience, returning its entire lineup from last season, while the Terriers continue to build momentum with strong performances across the board.
